Participants will learn about the history and uses of plaster, its connection to Museums and preserving historical artwork, and the traditional techniques used to create decorative plaster moldings.

After a brief presentation, participants will have the opportunity to create their own plaster molding to take home while exploring an art form inspired by ancient cultures. This interactive program is perfect for teens and adults who enjoy history, art, and making something with their own hands.
